Call me wierd but I enjoyed listening to Travis (and the invisable band) while stoned the other day. They've got the happiest sounding music for the most part. Very hyptnotic too sometimes. Anyone heard any of their other CD's? How was it?
Ok so screw you guys - I like them! Any wierd music you listen to no one else likes?

I'm guilty of owning a Bloodhound Gang CD, I'm sorry, but it just makes me laugh.

Alot of people hate electronic music (DJ Micro, Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyke, Orb, Underworld, Timo Mass, etc..) and hiphop (Dr. Octagon, Beat Junkies, Del, Peanutbutter Wolf, Pharcyde, etc...) and those are my favorite kinds of tunes. Still listen to alot of Dylan and Beatles though, fuck yeah. Peace

I understand that their music isn't "happy" persay...But, Kool Keith and Del and can flow man. Jurassic 5, Handsome Boy Modeling School, Mos Def, Afu Ra, are good too! Look into Nightmares on Wax or Air for some good chill music. peace

Keith flows (and sometimes doesn't) like no other. Get some reggae on the go. Instant sunkissed beats. Nightmares on wax still around?

Oh good, I dont feel so alienated anymore. What would you say their best 2 CD's are? I'd like to know for my next purchase.
I like almost all pink floyd. I dont like 'The Final Cut' though.
Phish is definetly good music like this. I have several of their CD's and their all great. Each of their CD's it seems has a different kind of sound to it. (know what I mean by that?)

Some of my favriots are darkside, NIGHTMARES ON WAX are the shit, if you have never heard TOSCA download some(especilly chocholate elvis, boss on the boat and honey are three of my favriots by them). Try some MILES DAVIS, that always works for me. one time i trip really hard in a dark room and i imagined i was in a jazz lounge. And i cant even think of leaving out JETHRO TULL "AQUALUNG" Or maybe some real mellow ACUOSTIC ZEPPELIN will do you some good. If your into deep trance try some INFECTID MUSHROOM. I could go on and on with music. But try to listen to something you dont listen to alot or at all. If you like downbeat trippy trippy mushroom shit try TOSCA.
