I have to agree that the best Pink Floyd trip album is Umma Gumma Live. In my mind the definitive verision of Careful with That Axe Eugene and Interstellar Overdrive.

This thread has turned me on to so much great music, thanks everyone. I'd like to return the favor by suggesting you check out the album Hallucination Engine, by Material. A few other great ones from Bill Laswell and friends are: Arcana - Ark of the Testimony, and Axiom Ambient. Enjoy the journey.

Cuthulu!! man if you like Laswell and other psychedelic music suggest here on this thread, you should DEFINITELY check out "Ekstasis - Wake up and Dream," which is in my opinion Bill Laswell's most incredible psychedelic achievement

Coil and the Legendary Pink Dots are delightful for me, because they can completely blow your mind with really subtle movements in sound and words. Very rarely do they use shock tactics, but I've felt as if I'd been taken to the heavens and/or gone through 40 Days in the Desert when listening to Musick to Play in the Dark vol. 1

I just downloaded Aqueous Transmission, and it's great - what album is it on? I can't find it on Amazon.

Pink Floyd is great while tripping...especially the first song on dark side of the moon....all the laughing and yelling and the heartbeat seem like they're stuck in your head and then all of the sudden it goes into the instruments and u feel like ur flying...tis pretty trippy stuff...
