IMO, it's ok to kill something as long as you eat it.

BTW, this is a Philosophical question, imo...

Then you fool yourself..

MAIA moved it days before you claim to have done so...

Either way, thank you for being alert!

Some days after this, you PM'd me and told me you had moved my thread..

Then I PM'd you to tell you ,"WTF are you on? What did you think you moved?" ...

Either way.. as said before, it is cute that you feel the need to take credit for this...

I got logs to back it up.. But, I won't make it public, seems this is of some strange value for you..

So, if you kill your brother, it is OK, as long as you eat him?

I know you might not have meant this, but hey? Semantics ...

Check this little guy out. He was just hanging out by my cactus collection.

Of course I am very happy he's there since he probably protects my plants... I think he's great anyway. But by not killing him am I not damning countless poor insects to die by this vicious beast?

I think this is great... I can pass the moral responsibility of killing insects to my arachnid friend. It gets me completely off the hook because spiders are "natural"

That is just nature taking it's course. That is what to aim for, in my opinion.

You hit the nail on the head there..

By letting one 'type' live, an other one might die..
It really boils down to the question, what is natural?

And, nature is.. We are a part of nature..

Hum..

I still get the feeling it is wrong to kill the bugs though. (There is a lot of these min-flies in my apartment.) Then again, maybe it is the selectiveness about it.

I would never harm a spider or anything that does not pose a threat, unless there are MANY MANY MANY of them...

This topic is on 'my' mind a lot...

All this time I've loved you
And never known your face
All this time I've missed you
And searched this human race
Here is true peace
Here my heart knows calm
Safe in your soul
Bathed in your sighs
