The Symbiotic Fact
    #7026436 -

It's a fact that we live in a symbiotic balance with nature. Take a tree for instance, it gives off oxygen. YES! But before that it has to recieve carbon dioxide and what a better source of carbon dioxide then from the animals that coexist with it. We give the tree life, in return it givies us life. Symbiotic.

Now what else can you think of that humanity does that helps us coexist with nature. We cut down all the trees and plants and destroy nature, in turn it will kill us off, one by one. Global Warning is a threat to all humanity!

What do you think about that?

Peace,
Droz

I'm a little worried about it honestly. But I like all the green technology that's coming out of the crisis. Especially the research that's been done by Stamets with Mushrooms and their mycelium. He's got mycelium breaking down heavy oils, fungi for pest control, etc.

An organism that feeds on shit yet transforms it into a beautiful learning experience is a necessary symbiote, IMO.

Global Warning is a threat to all humanity!

No it's not:

Republican Values:

1) You can't get married to your spouse who is the same sex as you.
2) You can't have an abortion no matter how much you don't want a child.
3) You can't have a certain plant in your possession or you'll get locked up with a rapist and a murderer.

4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.

Knowing this, where do you find your place with nature? Control it or let it control you?

Nature is always in charge. The rest is wishful thinking.

Nature will go on being and we will end. That puts things in their proper perspective.

Neither.
Nature just is...I just am.
Just rolling down the lines of time together.
There is no need to control her...she has no need to control me.
Mankind (as a whole) lost a great gift when it took up the desire to control.

Much as we'd like to think we do, we really have no control over anything but our selves.

Yes that is true that we can only control ourselves. But then we have nature thriving around us, do we destroy it or live with it? We cut the grass every weekend. We trim our trees back, we feed the birds, we chase away the rats.

We are a thriving piece of nature!

Droz

Well, I only mow the yard to avoid the inevitable fine from the city.
I trim the trees so myself, and my friends won't bang their heads on the branches when we congregate in the back yard.
I feed the birds because I enjoy watching them in such close proximity.
The rats...well, the rats just are. I neither like nor dislike them.

None of this stems from a desire to control (not for me, anyway).
