i used to like suvivorman until man vs. wild came along. i think it is a hell of alot better. i hate how the "suvivorman" has to keep going bac for all of his camera shit. his new season should be starting pretty soon i think

I like both of those shows and both of those guys are amazing but Survivor Man seems a lot more realistic. I do wonder if that guy has some kind of communication device he keeps secret just in case.

When's the next season of Survivorman coming out? I'm waiting for it. I watched one or two episodes of Man Vs. Wild and thought of how many different ways I could have survived that were more realistic.

Survivorman is real.
Man vs wild is fake.

The difference is Les Stroud is out there, alone for a week.
Bear Grills has girls feeding him grapes in a luxury motorhome every night, and steps out to do the shots.

Yeah Man vs Wild is awesome. But Survivor Man uses his own cameras and films himself- and doesn't cheat throughout the show using 'extra help'

Some of the weeks I have seen Les Stroud spend on Survivorman I would do just for fun.  Some of them looked like pure hell.  Either way, its informative and interesting.

Bear Grylls sucks.  He just tries to film scenes of himself doing extreme (and extremely stupid) things while never truly putting himself in a survival situation.  His show is more like Shock TV then a survival program.
