man vs. wild

its on discover channel right now, he must have been dropped off on the top of a snowy mountain by helicopter. He's showing ways to hike around keep warm and basically survive as he decends down. I just watched him catch some fish pulled them out and said "i cant make a fire out here but these trout are fine to eat raw. Break the spine that'll kill them" . Then he just naws into the back of the fish. Awsome show..guys crazy

Sounds about right. I havnt been fortunate to see that. Apparently hes climbed mt everest, crossed the Artic sea? He's being dropped in the desert on this one. Awsome info

from what i hear, true outdoors-survivalists would eat that guy alive. but i love his show, one of the best on TV right now.

Yes. He sucks. Les Stroud, the Survivorman, is cooler than Bear Grills or whatever the fuck that limey's name is. He carries his own camera gear and doesn't need a crew with him.

I'm watching it too man...yeah he leaped out of that chopper, now hes in costa rica. Building a raft out of vines and rafting in the pacific with tiger sharks circling him. NO IM SERIOUS, thats the best part.

True,, but bear is still badass......the motherfucker rode whitewater rapids in (the sierra nevada??? I forget where exactly) using his backpack as a raft. It doesn't get much more badass than that.

the last episode he was in the jungle squeezing latex from milk plants.non poisoness ones.this guy is a bad ass when it comes to survival and ethnobotany.watch exploring borneo next.bet that is bitchen.

i saw that show dark star,that was way bad ass.this guy is bad but survivorman is way more extreme.bear lived off seal fat in the arctic in one show.

When I used to go fishing a lot, I always used to take a bottle of soy sauce. I'd cut fillets straight from fresh caught fish, roll them up, dip them in soy and eat them.

I think he used to be in UK Special Forces too. what is it? SAS or something?

I just watch it and wonder about the cameramen...like how they get certain shots, if they eat the same food that he eats or if they're eating good food and drinking clean water, if they have similar backgrounds in survival skills...stuff like that. they're still doing the same thing he's doing, basically; just not on camera.

did anyone here see that show last year where that guy traveled the whole congo alone except for guides.his guides left and he was lost.filmed everything himself,he even caught malaria.don't know his name,borneo is on peace.
