What if females were the stronger?

So everyone always assumes that men were dominant, but what if women were stronger to begin with long long ago? Someone told me if you leave a man in the wild they will die faster than a woman... i was like??? huh... also many species are female dominant..
just a thought to  pass by you

i have always thought the recessive was where it was at though :smile:

There are some cultures where females were/are dominant. Same shit if you ask me, creates the same confusion.
Beside the fact, that in my opinion, it's disgusting to see a female act like a wrestler :lol:
Also I don't think there's OK to generalize. Courage doesn't necessarily depend on gender. It could be imprinted in some cases, but that's all.
We're not in he middle ages anymore and I don't understand why this need to make a definite difference like women/men are stronger/smarter etc.
These labels only create confusion and frustrations.

Anyways, I don't know exactly what you mean by this "what if..."

well that all depends what you consider "dominant". Whether in size or importance. If in size, then there's instances where females are definately larger in nature. The female pine cone, for instance, is a megasporophyll, whereas a male is a microsporophyll.

If you were to talk about reproductively then they're both important and this argument is worthless.

Specific cultures seem to define what is dominant. Then again, nature will define the dominance in some cases. For instance, say there's 2 lions, one an alpha male and has a black stripe down its mane. If he dies, nature will do whatever, and the other male all of a sudden develops a black stripe down its mane declaring him the alpha male.

Maybe women were the ones at first who were just strong brutes, then us males had to use our mind power to overcome their physical power. Then it just went back and fourth in waves like that over the years, until the females were the ones using their minds at that point in history and it has just evolved from there.
