in europe theyre just using global warming as an excuse to rape people with emissions taxes. I dont doubt theres such a thing as global warming (or global tempeture imbalance) but i doubt its caused by people. the ozone holes could easily be caused by magnetic shifts, and also we're supposively still coming ou of the last ice age still

i guess the real question is, weather it exists or not should we continue to destroy all the planets species/ habitats in the name of profit? and pullute all our of sources for food and water?

The only shift I've seen is everyone's view on 'global warming'. Mention the governments doing it to get more money and they go from "do something do something! They're killing the planet!" to, "Why's everything cost so fucking much?"

Whether you believe in global warming or not, you can't deny that we're raping this planet. We're gonna kill ourselves in a couple years with or without global warming, we need to shape up now so we're not the final species on our long list of human caused extinctions

I think its mildly ironic and quite funny that propaganda like Gore's stupid movie is doing as much to educate people about the real motives behind the "global warming" scare as it is to enlist new believers.  BTW- whatever happened to that impending ice-age I was told we were gonna suffer when I was in grade school?

Face it, no one knows what the climate will do.  And it'll do it with or without our help.  This doesn't mean we can pollute/corrupt/destroy our environment at will without consequence, but it is foolish and arrogant to think we can control or change what the Earth's climate is gonna do.

Ice age is actually first marked by a rise in temperature, which causes more clouds to form and then glaciers form at high elevations due to lack of sunlight, and this somehow perpetuates itself. According to Bill Bryson.

everytime i watch something about global warming, it's just some jerkoff ranting with one small piece of the huge climate change picture and taking it literally and out of context.

...pisses me off.

in fact, the only one who seems to really have taken the big picture, if you believe his sources of info, is that al gore video. But NOOOO we cant believe what he says because he's political, and just wants to profit off of this.
People who think that human pollution isnt causing climate change, whining about how awareness of global warming is just to get money to the climate scientists are fucking stupid. OF COURSE it's going to get money to the climate scientists. It Fucking Should.
