A few pics from todays hunt.

The two pics below are of the same little patch. The first one taken six days ago and the second one today.

These have some of the fattest stems ive seen.

the bruising/staining around the rim is more distinct than in the image, but the bruising is pretty much as it appears, but they seem to be becoming slightly darker... these are the first i've picked, i've only ever had em givin 2 me from mates, and they have the same appearance.

Nice haul Shroomeup!:)

Did you find the one's with the fat stems in the same habitat as the others? Any idea what may be causing the fatter stems?

Went to check on my local patches for what I hoped would be the last time this season... very disappointing.

The first little patch I had left alone last week to grow a bit longer, now looks very sick. Very saddening because I had high hopes for these guys. Last week they were the healthiest looking subs I had seen.

Last week:

This week:

The second patch looked much the same, although on reflection I was thinking that maybe it was the rain causing them to look this way? They are growing out in the opening and perhaps it is just the rain damaging them, rather than infection? What do you guys think?

I picked some of the healthier looking ones, and will check back again to see how every one is going next week.

here are some of the nicer looking guys from today

Happy shrooming guys

They look fine to me, although a little dry maybe. The recent rain we have had will kickstart them to keep growing. You will be surprised how much a bit of moisture can effect the appearance of subs.

and just went over the hunting forum rules again, nothing about asking to buy, and the fact that shroomery has a vendors section is the reason i thought it might be ok to ask

Mate, the rules might not mention "buying" specifically, but shrooms are illegal, so one of us isn't gonna come out and offer to sell you shit when we have no idea who you are. Unfortunately the pigs these days are just cockheads and are willing to charge people like us for picking something out of the ground, so when you come on here and ask for shit like that, its quite suspicious.

Wow nice and fresh... What's with the white edge to the caps is that normal?

I have 4 PF cakes colonising nicely from a wild sub that was pretty beaten up, don't know why everyone complains about contams from wild ones.

Just a few more, could only get 2 rushed habitat shots, the old ladies walking their dogs weren't very appreciative of me being there.

As you can see i left alot there, they will have to be picked another time.

This is my attempt at showing how blue this little fella was, i just cant seem to be able to take close ups

Hihi...
I was just wondering, (im not asking for locations) where this pictures taken at reserves? in the woods? or in local parks?

I have been hunting for over 3 weeks and have yet to see this type of habitat yet in parks and creeks.

Those were taken in a parkish area, off a footpath that was running adjacent to a creek.

What do you mean by parkish area?
A park the leads down into a creek?
Cause i know of a place just like that, where the park boarders a creek and nature path.

I mean that its not like a park with grassy areas and a playground, more like a trail that weaves through bushland, with woodchipped garden beds on either side of the footpath.

I just got back from my prolific patch to find about five DICKHEADS pulling EVERY SINGLE pin out of the ground -- not using scissors. There were about five of them and I was by myself so I didn't say anything. I would've loved to have given them a lecture. FUCKERS! Will this ruin the patch for next year since they've no doubt completely fucked over the mycelium?

Everyone seems to know about this patch I'm talking about. It's too popular so a lot of IDIOTS know about it. I'm so angry right now that I feel like telling everyone here where it is.
