About to be a sitter for a deliriant experiment.

I'm about to be a sitter for a friend who is going to ingest a large dosage of diphenhydramine. I will probably be taking notes and shit. It will be interesting to get an observer's point of view. Deliriants are not to be messed with in my oppinion but nonetheless it will still be an interesting experiment to take part in.

So does eating tons of diphenhydramine, though the dxm is safer by a long shot.

I've heard many stories of people going completely ape shit on large doses of diphenhydramine. :nonono:

I'd like to know how this turns out.

i ate roughly 2400 mgs of that vile stuff when i was but in 8th grade. that ended with criminal record and a trip to the hospital. not worth it at all.

Okay, so I was monitoring his behavior for nearly the entire trip. He took caffeine pills to stay awake and I'm not sure if that skewed the results of the experiment but I'm assuming it did because pretty much nothing happend. He ingested a total of 300mg of diphenhydramine (I think that's a little over 10 capsules of benadryl) and with the exception of feeling pretty drowsy he felt no other significant effects. The closest he came to a deliriant state is that he reported being slightly confused and in state of dissorientation after smoking weed but he was still pretty clearheaded. He is also on a mild SSRI (I forget which one) which I assume could have some effect on the experiment, but so far no other drug he's taken has interacted with that medication so I don't know why this one would. Either way the experiment for the most part was a failure and produced no significant results. I will be conducting a similar report next week when he will ingest a common dosage of datura seeds.

For your information were both college students and very experienced with drugs especially with psychedellics.  we have readily available access to pretty much any high we could want be it LSD, DMT, Mushrooms, Ecstacy, Coke, or Heroin.  If we were looking for a high we could have easily gotten it.  He was fully aware of the danger he was getting himself into as well as the fact that he would get nothing enjoyable out of the trip.  We did this solely in the interest of experimentation. :syringe:

an SSRI will reduce the effects to benedryl as benedryl inhibits the reuptake of serotine (fyi).

i would strongly advice against trying higher dosages to get desired effects from both datura and benedryl as long as your friend is taking SSRI.

Since you are saying you both are aware of the risk and willing to risk these i wont go into possible side effects such as heart attack and death
