"experiment"
thats not an experiment, thats just drug abuse. And farily rubbish drug abuse at that.
...maybe im wrong. what did you discover/conclude from your experiment?

I took around the same dose when i did the same experiment on myself a while back. the difference is that i actually felt effects and saw visuals from the drug while he felt pratically nothing. When i did it floors and walls rippled with electric patterns and i thought i could hear the telephone ring even though when i answered it all i would hear is a dial tone. therefore, i assumed that he wasn't experiencing the same results mainly due to some sort of drug interaction. but at the same time the SSRI he is on (Lexapro) seems to have no interaction with most of the psychedellics he takes (LSD, mushrooms, and a variety of RC's) and my natural tolerance to psychedellics still seems to be far higher than his. he does report being really fatigued and depressed today which would make sense considering the interaction you described.
is there any reason why deliriants would effect serotonin levels more than other psychedellics? cause i assumed that LSD and other serotonin-binding drugs would react far more to SSRI than any deliriant could. the results we got from the experiment would suggest otherwise though.
i know i can't be too subjective about it though since there are a lot of variables to consider such as the setting, mood of subject, and other shit that could have influenced how hard the drugs effected him. given the dangers of the drugs, i told him that this experiment was a one time thing only though so i don't think we're likely to try this again (with benadryl at least).

once again, i only acted as a sitter during his trip although i was pretty curious to see how his experience would differ from mine. i'm still really suprised that he felt such mild effects from the drug considering the dosage he took (close to 350 mg). i'm still very curious as to whether all deliriants would effect him in a similar way or if it just benadryl that would ahve such a low effect on him. at the same time, if it were the result of an SSRI interaction. why wouldn't he be experienceing the same "dissapointment" from psychadellic drugs?

Why do you even need to perform such an experiment? I'm sure if you look hard enough you can find some sort psychiatric review or research article that is pertinent to your interests.

after close inspection of the data gathered during this experiment, i have come to the conclusion that benadryl has little value as a recreational drug. the test subject also died.

haha i ate about 15 or so benadryl pills once in highschool. smoked some weed and chilled in my room for an hour or two and just felt really tired and kept thinking i saw rats and spiders and shit on the walls/floor out of the corner of my eye. everytime i'd try to focus on one it would be gone. then my friend hit me up about a party 15 mins away so i drover there (highly unrecommended on any amount of benadryl) and theres this one road that goes out to the town the party was in. i've driven down this road hundreds of times but when i was going to the party i kept looking around and i totally felt lost and it seemed like the scenery kept repeating but looked completely unfamiliar at the same time. it was really weird till i got the the point where the road splits left and right and i was comfortable driving after that point.
chilled at the party for awhile, had a beer or two but was just way to tired from the benadryl so i went home and probly smoked more weed then passed out.
that's my benadryl story
i would've never taken it if i had access to fungus, lucy, or any other drug for that matter, but my connections were shitty at that point in time.

After hearing some peoples stories on here about their uses, I'd never attempt at a deliriant.
They all have negative outcomes.
