No, it's not like I cursed my parents or anything, I've never really cared about it..but it is somewhat interesting considering the effects it has on the child's psyche.

The concept of Jesus amazes me: mass deception of infants and adults. What does it say about the human race that we delude our young, and ourselves in such an incredibly ridiculous way.? Literally, a huge proportion of the world's peoples believe in a lie. They live that lie, and they love it. If they've been made to believe in Jesus, then imagine what the rest of us are believing



but seriously, it's a tradition thing.  by going through the rituals (and they are indeed ancient rituals, when considering everything associated with santa / christmas / presents under a tree / decorating a tree / etc.) it makes people feel like they are still connected to their ancestors or something.
