communion with what is happenning is possible with less attitude.

attitude is mistaken for ego

anything experienced brings up associations.
with the associations is attitude, usually a series of routines and tests to wrap up the situation or to simplify it.

So we wrap the experiences with attitude as if it were paper trying to wrap up rocks or fragments of reality.

the trick is to allow association but refrain from attitude.
even a dead frog's leg jerks with electric shocks
