For those of you who have experienced something very spiritual while tripping..
    #6250578 -

For those of you who experienced something truly spiritual while tripping, what did you do to help integrate that experience into your life? What steps did you take following the experience to ensure that the message was not forgotten?

I ask because last night I experienced something beyond anything I imagined. Trip report here for those who are interested. Although I will never forget what I experienced, only 24 hours later I am left wondering if/when/how I will regain the connection that I made.

you probably won't regain it in this life, at least not fully. all you can do is work toward continually raising your consciousness and helping others to do the same.

meditating, tripping more, pushing your body and mind to the limits.... you may not realize it now, but you haven't lost the connection, so there's no need to regain it

“Strengthened by contemplation and study,
I will not fear my passions like a coward.
My body I will give to pleasures,
to diversions that I’ve dreamed of,
to the most daring erotic desires,
to the lustful impulses of my blood, without
any fear at all, for whenever I will—
and I will have the will, strengthened
as I’ll be with contemplation and study—
at the crucial moments I’ll recover
my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

ask yourself what about the revelation(s) on your trip was important to you, and why it may be applicable to your life ... there are ways to bring ideas from trips and manifest them in reality, but it takes focus and some effort once you understand the essence of the insights ...

My trips have inspired me to live a more spiritual life. I've built an altar in my room, where I pray almost every day. I've become fascinated with mysticism of all forms, and have read extensively about various traditions, particularly Gnosticism and Kabbalah. I've been taking weekly classes at a place around here called the "Gnostic Academy"(though I often find myself disagreeing with some of what they teach). And today, I started taking Kundalini Yoga.

I find thinking about the insights and then writing about them can help you understand them better. Once you understand them better there's probably a higher chance that you'll retain the information.

Glad to you hear you had a spiritual trip by the way  good luck on finding your way.

Other people's trip reports are really helpful in getting some perspective. It helped me a lot when I was basically accused of being Satan and then sent to a hell realm.

Silversoul has a great idea with Gnosis. Try them as a meditation and ignore how other people have interpreted them. I find after a really heavy experience, there are a lot of meanings in there that you wouldn't have picked up on prior to these types of trips, and meanings that not many other people could understand.

I dose, close my eyes and wait. Something I really like is to concentrate on a good feeling, it eventually engulfs me and brings me to more pleasant realms. But the last time I tripped I came out of a feeling of being cradled by God, and mistook coming down for my partner dying, the feeling I had then was as though God came down to apologise personally and console me for my loss. I guess we can try, but can never predict what we'll see.

I had such a life changing experience. I did my intregration work with a book called The Handbook to Higher Consciousness, by Ken Keyes  It's based I believe on Rational Emotive Therapy developed by Albert Ellis. This put me into a new phase of my personal evolution. I began the very difficult work of telling myself the whole truth (about myself as I knew it) and learning to accept it unconditionally. I have been pushed and pulled, fell down (often) and got up and I'm still here. :mushroom2:

That was also the first book I read of a spiritual nature and it definately helped me in a huge way make sense of my psychedelic experiences. Also got the recommendation from it here on the Shroomery    :crazy2: :mushroom2:

What did I do? I found my way out of the woods, which I've gotten lost in numerous times on LSD, walked back to my house, ate some food and read.

I think that's all. There's no need to integrate the experience once the connection has been made- no matter what you do, the connection you experienced will remain the same. If you don't realize it then, then you should just continue to experience life, and it'll become clearer over time.
