Two Psilocybes from Australia

here is a find of at the top - a strongly bluing and hydrophanous variety of possible Ps.Subaeruginosa - similar to a picture of an unknown Australian Psilocybe in Stamets' book and below them the mushroom that has been identified originally as Ps.Cyanescens - an ID that Mjshroomer and others has recentally questioned. Microscan identification is underway!

Now compare those mushrooms - particularly the top type to this picture from 'www.stainblue.com' from the article about Guzman. They are of Ps.Eucalypta on the left and Ps.Australiana on the right. Both are described as similar to Ps.Cyanescens on Mjshroomer's 'mushrooms of Australia and New Zealand.'
Im finding these always in liginous substrates such as decaying woods and mulch from landscape gardens and forest areas

now here again are the mushrooms originally identified as Ps.Cyanescens:
now as a comparison here is a wavy capped Subaeruginosa I have found:
and wavy capped B+:
The main problem I have with Identifying mushrooms here is that according to Stamets, Subaeruginosa never uplifts or goes wavy and that it is hydraphanous to the point that it goes white and ive only ever seen this with the mushroom identified as Ps.Australiana!! So confusing!!!

I'm with you Bluemeanie, it's damn hard to identify Aussie psilocybes. I've told you before about the ones I've found and I'm still not certain what they are. I'll be taking plenty of photos this year. If anyone can identify them from a print or sample I'd be happy to supply them (for identification purposes.)
