I understand the rationale for the bannage.  I just think it's bullshit.  You're banning a member for having a girlfriend that got banned.  That wasn't his fault.  WTF?  I thought this site was about encouraging tolerance and understanding....  Maybe not?  :sad:

You detect annoyance at explaining myself as clearly and straightforwardly as possible, only to have people fake ignorance as some sort of bizarro-world tactic for trying to argue against it. Go read my posts in OTD about a thousand times and if you still don't get it enroll in special classes.

Plenty of banned people come back w/ different names...

As long as Meatspace doesnt do some more incredibly stupid shit like stickying a thread in the pub saying who she is now, I'm sure they'll be fine...

As you might have seen in the past, we are pretty lenient towards perma banned members, BUT ONLY as long the member who after some time registers a new username keeps a NORMAL attitude towards us, and you, and every other member of the Shroomery.

There are examples of members who managed to change to the better, and then we have no problem with them.

BUT as long this is not the case, and particularly with Meatspace I don't see it coming in the next decade,(please, prove me wrong!!) as long we are going to keep banning any puppets of perma banned members.

I guess I'm having trouble grasping the proceedure. You're saying that if a permabanned member makes a puppet and acts cool then you'll let it slide, but if they come back, announce themselves and cause a rukus then they're gone? Is that it?
