Chicks, I need your inside opinions.

I'm going to make this short and sweet because I hate reading posts like this myself.

So I've been dating this chick on and off for 3 years.

Right now we're on.

She's told me a few times that, "I don't care if you fuck someone else, as long as I don't find out".

This completely dumbfounds me. Does this mean that she expects the same from me? Because I sure as hell care if she fucks someone else and I don't find out.

I'm just wondering if her saying this should raise any red flags and if it doesn't why would she say some shit like that?  :mad2:

You need to be clear with her what your agreement is in the current "on" period.  If you want to be monogamous, then tell her in no uncertain terms that it is non-negotiable for you.  If she wants sexual freedom, she should be in a relationship with someone else.

(And yes, that quote from her should definitely raise some red flags. :tongue:)

I've told her straight up that I don't wany anything to do with her unless she's going to be committed and loyal. She says she wants to be, but I've also caught her messages talking to a prospective male and she said that it wont happen again blah blah.

I should probably know better than to even be dealing with her, but she's pretty much the only person here that I connect with.

I'm just going to stay weary and alert and look for signs. :smile:

The thing is that she doesn't want me to have freedom. She is a very jealous person.

She gets so upset with me when I even speak to other females. She's read a few convos between my best friend and I (which happens to be a female) and she was livid.

I really don't understand. Girls are so confusing.

After many years of believing it was better to be with someone, even if they did not treat me well, I realized it was much better to be alone.  Being alone ROCKS compared to being in a bad relationship.

If you want to stay with her, realize that she has already shown you how she will behave.  If you continue, knowing she will probably not be faithful, then you are agreeing to her terms.

The thing is that I broke up with her a few days ago because of the prospective guy that I mentioned above. She was so upset, she was crying her eyes out, i couldn't understand anything she was saying and she practically begged for me back. And me, being a softy, let her back. That's why this is confusing to me.

Sure seems like she's fucking around, or at least wants to. I can't think of any other reason why the hell she'd tell you something like that. If she doesn't care who you sleep with, she just doesn't care enough. That doesn't necessarily mean she doesn't want you, hence the begging and crying, but I'd question her motives. You offer her security and a fallback. Those are nice things to have, possibly worth crying over

You make a very good point. I think I am the "fall back" person when she can't find anyone else. But then again, she's the same to me. :rolleyes:

I'm quite sure she isn't fucking around simply because her sex drive has been very very low due to medicine.

Why is it so hard to find a person as committed and loyal as I am?
