No just because you have not understood what I have said does not mean that I have made a attack or a insult.


OK I will explain my posts for you word for word so you will not have these feeling towards me  :grin:

OK what this means is that a person who truly is seeking wisdom and know what wisdom is also knows that the path to wisdom has no end. That is one of the basic things about wisdom. and it is.  But a person who thinks that he has reached the maximum wisdom and does not need any more in fact has gain almost no wisdom and is a fool.

The mistake you made was ASSUMING Swami was saying he is all wise. Which he did not. Then you have confused Fool as an insult. Which it is not. Second mistake you made was to ASSUME I was insulting Swami. Which I was not. He and I were having a intellectual conversation and in now way was any of it derogatory. He is smart and knows this. Third mistake you made was to defend Swami when none was needed in the first place.

OK Giggy was saying that she may be not having a need to learn from the bible that in fact she has all wisdom in her. And in fact I somewhat agree with this concept. The mistake you have made is ASSUMING that I meant that she was not allow in MY THREAD. OK get this I never said this was my thread, You did. I was only agreeing with her and stating then in fact she may not beifite from the information I was giving. In now way was I getting hissy with her. I nfact I was making a slight mockery of her and having fun. And I think she knows this now :thumbup:

There are actually three traditional methods for scriptural interpretation, the simplest to use is "PRDS".

No - you CAN get by without an intimate knowledge of hebrew, aramaic or greek if you use the same rules those who wrote these things down did...knowing the languages and old texts does help to expand and beautify the whole thing, inlcuding the history and cultures involoved...

No - You cannot slippery get away with some dismissive old testament argument about killing homo's :crazy2: and confuse or justify like that :smile:
so common, people actually pity those who do try it I think...:crazy2:

Yes - huehuecoyotl is another world's foremost authority who plays a slippery game but doesn't fool as many people as he likes to aggravate...better to leave him to his studies in peace....

If I write more than a bumpersticker's worth, I find that few can remember or encorporate it into their own 3 second attention span.

no wonder they quote bible passage fragments out of context.

finding and presenting useful context free nuggets has been a huge part of my quest.

I have noticed through out my entire life that people just love to take one small scripture out of a entire passage and let people have it with the truth they have found. When in fact they most times have got it very wrong.

I am in now way making an attempt to get anyone to see things my way.

Well, you have to understand that, first off, I am extremely tired. Second off, I was around then and its basically the same cast of people. :grin:
