Psychedelic Drugs pretty safe to take

I have done Ecstasy + LSD over a 100 times. I have done over a ounce of mushrooms in a few days dried. I have taken mescaline, lsa, ayahuasca also. I have also taken a MRI which scans for brain damage. I just wanted to tell you my results where negative. No brain damage or issues have occured from the drugs. So technically the drugs are 100% safe to take physically. We of course are assuming you can handle the psychological effects.

To be accurate, a brain scan such as the MRI shows us only a very rough picture of the brain. An MRI only reveals changes in blood flow (or cerebrospinal fluid), and fairly obvious problems like tumors and lesions. We are not yet at the point where we can physically map what is happening on the neuronal level. For example, if the number of serotonin receptors has decreased, the current brain scans aren't capable of detecting this, and this is the kind of thing that matters when we're trying to determine the neurotoxicity of say, MDMA.

The brain is unbelievably complicated. I think the MRI is only accurate to about 1 millimeter. Virtually all physical brain activity happens on a smaller scale than that.

well whatever, I am just going to say it is 100% safe so everyone drop hella e and acid baby!!! That just goes to show how pathetic modern medicine truely is. The MIR has been around since the early 1990's right.... I love our slow technology woohoo

uh...one person doesn't say ANYTHING about how safe these drugs are...especially one person's MRI...

Granted, I believe, that in moderation, and in specific doses, anything is safe....but there isn't any scientific 100% proof out there (in fact, science couldn't even give me that as science is never 100% positive).

was there not a study of alleged brain damage caused by marijuana, one that used highly delicate instruments? I beleive I recall them saying "[instruments] so precise they could observe the effect of learning in monkeys" or something to that effect.

Turned up zilch, no damage.

I haven't seen a source for it though, could be untrue.

I still wouldnt say 100% safe. 2CT& for example hasnt proven 100% safe. Also it would be nice to run a PET test.The test you took would show any structural damage....

Still that opinion is on the opposite side of the spectrum.Its mostly the unbacked up argument many govermental sites use.

So what are "Drugs" pinkbullet and what makes them "bad"? Ponder on it for a while. A molecule is not bad in itself. So is Psilocybin "Bad" if you do it once a year? Is Psilocybin "bad" if you do it every other day? Is Psilocybin "Bad" if you intergrade it to a marathon of drugs as if one tries to indulge in everything psychoactive this plane has to offer from Acid to quadaludes?

Dont you think that type of substance plays a role?
Frequency?
Purity?
General attitude?

At what point does something actually become bad? There is no bad or good, its just an opinion. It is the person that makes something bad for themselves. Like if you abuse LSD frequently it might cause psychological damage which might be considered bad by some people. Or it could be bad because you'd be tripping more time than you'd be doing anything else, so you wouldn't get anything done other than sitting around tripping out. That could also be considered bad by alot of people. Maybe you could take LSD uncommonly and have it show you things you wouldn't normally see in regular perception. After that you might act strange though in other peoples eyes and so then other people could think that LSD is bad while you think it is wonderful. It is the same thing with food. Food can be more physically harmful than drugs if you decide to eat too much of any food. Like if you eat McDonald's every day it will certainly lead to early death. But also eating too much healthy food can even cause physical harm its not just fast food. Nothing is bad or good until you make it that way.

Nothing is 100% safe. And just because its not damaging your brain, does not mean they are not damaging other parts of your body.

Treat drugs, and espically psychadelics with a bit of caution and respect, and espically when dealing with things like MDMA - that shit is very rarely 100% pure these days, and has all sorts of other crap cut in with them.

i can't even believe how stupid this post is. as was said nothing is 100% safe, especially not powerful mind altering drugs. furthermore tons of people feel they have been harmed by the use of MDMA and there are many cases of people suffering HPPD, seizures and other negative affects from LSD and shrooms. the fact that youre MRI turned up no damage does not in the least bit prove psychedelics are 100% safe. if i huffed gasoline and then got an MRI and they saw no damage would that mean that huffing gasoline was 100% safe? psychedelics certainly seem to damaged your ability to think logically, unless of course you were always this way.
