New Anti drug commercial

Has anyone seen the new hallucinogen anti drug commercial?
It begins showing colorful shapes and visuals and u can see a deer coming toward you and then it says " This is what drugs do to your mind." I thought was pretty close to what i've seen on psychedelic drugs.
That commercial doesn't make me want to stop trippin. What you guys think? :cool:

Pretty soon you'll probably see a anti drug commercial saying marijuana kills diabetics cause they had eaten to much sugar from the munchies...

There is some new Anti-drugs stuff going on in the U.K, I thourght it was funny, it just starts of with some kid going on about coke and he says stuff like if you take a hit and hold your breath it makes you invisable. Then it says if you want to know the truth about drugs call frank. I did have a funny idea though, just create a spoof ant-drugs site called frank.com or something and take the piss out of the uk anti-drugs sites. Only prob though too many stupid people will think its real. Especial if there is a section under Cat Piss extraction guide.

My anti drug is ethnobotanical use for spiritual exploration! :grin:

In BC, canada we have an add against tabacco.  Two people are driving in a car and the passanger lights up a cigarette.  Suddenly the car vers off the road, flies 5 feet in the air before landing and skidding across the street narrowly missing other cars and comes to a screaching halt.  The passanger says "WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!?", and the driver says "well, you're putting my life at risk" and she looks at the burning cigarette.

Pathetic really.

Theres one with a girl who smokes pot at a party with a guy, and she's all zoned out, then the guy starts feeling her up and shit.....and it blames marijuana!!!...not the person sexually assulting the girl...although im sure the pot made him do it.... :smirk:

They have these anti smoking ads here. They're not as pathetic as the one you described. They just show a person smoking, and as they inhale, the camera goes down their throat and shows a lung fucked up from cancer. They have a few more, showing a different ways cigarettes can fuck up your health.

I hate the ones where they show a horrific car accident with someone gazing upon the twisted metal, looking very sad and then blame it on weed.  Oh please...  I personally have been entertaining the thought that the government is very twisted by allowing alcohol yet nothing else, even drugs that are less lethel.  This is IMHO, of course.  It just irritates me how they are deceiving the general public.  I pity people who actually trust the government.  :frown:

I saw a really bad one where a girl was crying and her parents had a pregnancy test and it was positive so the girl started crying more and I forgot how it went, cause it was stupid, but it ended by saying "marijuana impairs judgement," implying she fucked a guy because she was stoned. HAHAHA. What a slut.

I also fucking hate the commercials that say 1/3 of drivers tested who got in car crashes tested positive for pot. What a fucking spin. They say it's in their system, but that doesn't mean they were high. I bet almost 1/3 of people smoke pot, thus would have it in their system. They also don't tell you how many of those people were fucking drunk at the same time. I hate it when they use this shit to get society more and more against pot, when tobacco and alcohol are both accepted, both of which are addictive and get hundreds of thousands killed every year in America.

Well. What I wonder when I see those statistics, is what if the car accidents were unavoidable, with or without pot? What if the accident victims were talking on the cell phone, or turning around and yelling at someone, or changing their radio, or eating while driving? All those things could cause accidents, but it is simply easier to blame the entire thing on pot when the victim has a bag of it in the car or has a bit in the system. I just wonder how many accidents are not actually 'CAUSED' by pot itself. There are an incredible number of variables to consider in an accident, but as soon as the dead person is tested and a drug is found, the accident is immediantly blamed on the drug.

Fucked up, if you ask me. The only person who really knows for sure is the dead person. People are always looking for scapegoats to help explain their tragedies, which is understandable I guess. Unfortunatly it indirectly screws other people, like us.

One of the reasons marijuana is illegal today because growers in the 30s lobbied against hemp farmers -- they saw it as competition, because It is not chemically addictive as is nicotine, alcohol, or caffeine.
