The dream challange thread

well... the idea is this:
every week we'll have another dream challange so that we can help each other with dream recall and lucid dreaming or plain dream fun!

so for this first week i challange you dreamers to find a dream party (Bday rave wedding whatever) and tell us everything you can recall about the party!
try to remmber everything like:
who's party was it?
food served?
drugs consumed?
colors?
oppsit sex hotties?
time of day?
location?
music?
state of mind?
anything!

let the games begin!
and if you're in for the challange please say "ay"  :tongue:

I am going to a psy-trance party tomorrow, and tried to astral project my spiritual body there to check it out the night before. Didnt quite make it, but Im almost sure I'll be there in about an hour (spritual body) when Im asleep.

im a little confused.....is the object of this game to make ourselves dream about a party? or just give a report about a previous dream that was about a party?

to dream of a party and remmber as much as you can about it so you can post it in this thread!

the more you recall about it the better (as far as anything... color/sight/smell/feeling..etc)

I like the direction you are going with this, but i think you are starting at too high a gradient. You are delving into the more advanced part of controlling dreams, because not all lucid dreams are neccessarily controllable.
The book experiment was a good one, because it set no other parameters beyond something as common as a book to be in your dream, and by reading that thread the next few nights, when you dreamed, for some a red flag popped up, and decided to check the book out.

sorry, i dont have any original ideas right now to offer instead, but can only urge you to think of something easier and more condusive to massive dream recall.

maybe you're right...
(as it stends right now i haven't been able to induce a dream party as well...)
i'm not asking people to become lucid... just to dream of a party
there are lot's of teks for becoming lucid and some deal with intention and affirmation
that's what i did when i found my book... i was certine i'd dream of a book and infact i did (i wasn't lucid but the dream became much more vived once i found the book (or maybe my dream recall was better from that point becouse i knew that i "need" to remmber "that is to say not forget" :grin: )

the reason my first objective was a party was to make people want to take part thinking "it'd be fun to dream about a party"
anyway this thread will change in two days and if anyone pulls it off by then all the better

wow. i like the idea of a weekly challengle alot.

the funny thing is i just woke up from a dream about a party...

what can i remember though?

hmm. well there was alot of teen kinda kids, seems like a house party. I remember gangster rap was playing and some little wigger kids were frontin'. I remember making out with a hot chick, and fooling around then bang, she died. yeah died. so i had to slap her back to life but then i was to freaked out by her to do anything else... at one point i told some little guy to go eat miniwheats and everyone laughed.

thats about all.

o btw... just repeat to yourself mentally "i will dream of a party" as you fall asleep. this will work, if not the first night then by the third or fourth for sure. of course this is only if you remember yoru dreams and also dont go to bed drunk or high as this impedes dreaming

the challange for this week is as follows:

bring back a vivid face or facial expression of a dream character and describe as best as you can

see you on the other side
i'll be the one grinning like a mad greamlin :moose:
singing you songs  :elvis:
freaking you out  :borfase:
stealing your cash :jewbot:
while stroking my beard  :strokebeard:
and leaving you wondering  :egg:

i can't say i'm a lucid dreamer but i sure wish i could!
there was a time about a year ago i really tried and had a couple of lucid dreams but since then my sleep is not good and i kinda gave up
BUT i do my best to recall my dreams (when i wake up and DO remember a dream i repeat it in my head untill i can recall everything i CAN about it) i hope some day to become a lucid dreamer!

finelly i am able to bring back some input to this thread...

i don't remmber much about this dream (i only recalled it today at work and i have no idea if it was last night or the night befor)

i remember my own face kinda shocked running my hands through my SHORT hair... (i've got long hair now i haven't cut it in almost two years) someone had cut my hair... obviusly it wasn't me but i wasn't angry simply bewildered that this had happened

not as an exciting report i wanted but it'll have to do... i'll keep trying though...
