I just got some more Polyfill from walmart a few hours ago. Its in the ARTS AND CRAFTS section. Works fine. No contamination here. I hate pushing them things threw the holes though for some reason, a pain in the ass.

I've used tyvek and polyfil with comparable results, so I stick to polyfil because it is easier. I haven't tried the filter discs that are sold online, they are expensive.

if you want to use tyvek just go to the post office or fedex store and pick some up for free and cut your own disks.. just look on the back of the envelopes and it will say tyvek in the corner. itll look like this..

If you want, you can just order from www.usps.com free of charge. I ordered some about a month ago, so as far as I know, they are still doing it. Good luck.

Yeah, I typed in 10 for the quantity, and it was 10 units of 10. They sent me 100 tyvek envelopes for free.

I don't seem to find polyfill or tyvek around where I live.

I thought about using some "mineral cotton" used in constructions to insulate (is this tyvek?). But I'm not so sure right now. I'm thinking about just sealing the holes with silicon out of fear of contams.

What do you suggest?

i think u should be able to get polyfill or something adequate

if you close the hole then u still want to let air get through.
maybe use some kind of tape...

afaik mineral cotten can damage your lung and i think its very unhealthy to ingest
