Thanks for the link BadEnglish, 20 Tyvek filters (i mean envelopes) are on their way to my house! now should i only use the white part of the envelope, or can i use the part this is printed on as well?

I would use polyfill. Its $2 for a years supply at WallyWorld. Tyvek has always given me moisture control problems.

Yeah, anno is where I got my supply too. My parents thought it odd me getting a package of envelopes in the mail, haha.

I love tyvek.

I like to write on it. That way I don't have to put tape on the jar.

Actually no, polyfill was around much earlier, but I was the first to write handy illustrated directions on how to make a polyfill lid.

BUT I was the first who was testing out tyvek as a filter material on this board, 2 years ago here:

As I found out later tyvek also has been used a long time before by commercial growers.

Hey Magash, could you explain to me why it looks like you use bandaids on your tyvek filter over those jars? i think the tyvek envelopes are the only thing in this country you can get free besides the finger!
