I appreciate your input, Diploid. I discussed this further with a friend, and realized that what I really wanted to work on was living with less fear and attachment.

I do not struggle with this when I feel good, I am full of joy and energy, and my loved ones are around to hug and kiss me.

My work is on remaining relaxed and non-neurotic when I feel sick, am in pain, throwing up, and have no one around to lean on.
