Which substrate mix better Ryche Hawk's mixed bird seed or the brf? I'm looking for something different to innoculate with my new syringes! CaseXX

As long as you have a pressure cooker, since it is required, I would recommend you move onto some whole grain substrates. That is, ofcourse, if you have a good understanding of the basic PF tek.

I used Ryche's magic formula and was very happy with the results. I read that flax seed meal and bird seed are high in tryptamines which in turn make a more potent end result.

if you are going to use brown rice flour, use dark rye flour instead. i used brf and it took months to colonize, but then i switched to drf and it took like a week and a half. YEA - dark rye flour BOO - brown rice flour

Lord lovely - I have had same problem - rice flower takes months to colonise. Do you use same recipe as mmgg 3 and just substitute the rye for rice?

A quick question about Ryche's magic substrate formula. How many jars is the formula for and what size are the jars?

Naw, you guys PF cakes are great, I got some EQ's colonizing in 7 days but most in 10 and that's fast. 1/4:2/3 cup brf/verm ratio, scoop into jars not packed at all, must be very airy for the speediest colonization.
