Thing is Swami,

You aren't negative, however you put certain people (usually novices) on the defensive.

Once someone is defensive, their responses become predictable... which makes for an easier argument... however, it also gives the defensive a chance to blame you. "It is Swami's fault! He is Sooo negative towards spirituality. I'm NEVER posting in there again!"

Most always, these people are full of shit... however they ARE the squeaky wheel. Then the Staff (half of whom chose to think you were "Negative" when THEY were S&P novices) gets wind of you being "negative", and the lynch-mob starts getting their torches out of the garage.

Negative on Spirituality? Ha!

You are one of the most Spiritual people here! You just don't pretend to put into words, something which can not be explained through text... and you give people a lot of space to make up their own minds... which often bites you in the ass. ESPECIALLY when people choose to think your tactics are negative.

I'm sure you could be more "Positive" I'm sure you could scare fewer people away... hell, you could even use more emoticons! But, I don't think any of that would make you more effective at what you do.

I imagine, if you worked on curbing the drama that surrounds many of your discussions, you'd annoy fewer Mods, who must clean your messes, but of course, those Mods could just choose to view what you do as positive, and help out by playing "Good Cop" in your threads, while allowing the discussion to continue; better, and more rewarding, than cleaning a mess, if you ask me.

You are the S&P "Bad cop". Therefore, your tactics are much more effective when you have a "Good cop" around.

trying to define spirituality at the first place rapes it.. you guys that claim spirituality is this or that are making this sound all to much like politics and its boring..

swami on the other hand is crazy foo from what ive read so they may even be right!
