I have a friend that almost shot (to kill) a US senator for trying to enter a restricted area on a US military base. There were a bunch of senators on a VIP tour and one of the senators left the group to see what was going on "over there". (What was going on over there was a nuclear warhead was being unloaded.) My friend had the senator on the ground with his finger on the trigger ready to shoot. These people are serious about their job and do not play around. When asked what happened to the senator, my friend didn't know. He said the MPs took him away and that was the last he heard of it.

Those are just two I dug out of a conspiracy website but a lot of people talk about this. Once again I don't think there's a point but if it actually happened I'd laugh and clap my hands in support while watching on CNN.

Apparently though Area 51 isn't active anymore or at least the majority of government black projects aren't being conducted there anymore. Supposedly the government's Black Projects are now spread out among several underground facilities and several waste land bases (rumors about Antartica being one of them). Also supposedly there is a whole network of underground bases, tunnels, highways, and support networks where the majority of Black Military projects and personnel reside. Once again, I have no idea and I don't really believe this stuff but I find it interesting and I add it to the discussion.

Besides... you know Kubrick filmed the moon landing there right?

there probably isnt anything going on there anymore, here is a sattelite view of area 51 that you did not use to be able to get...

heres a link to a google satellite image of the facility. as i said before other sattelite images of the place were blacked out, not anymore though leading me to think that nothing big is going on there anymore...

am band, rock, electronic, pop, or otherwise.

im talking aobut weekend long things especially where you can camp and chill out with lots of people. include links and dates and PRICE $$

Personal opinoin: i would say that this is a great festival i have gone for the past w years and have not been dissppointed, it goes all day and closes around midnight, and then the real parties start off. you have to get a hotel or sleep in your car, or fight the bums for a spot on a bench somewhere, but its worth it

I'm sure that it isnt nearly as active as it once was...infact it could be just to draw our attention now days. But the point of the matter is that it legaly does not exist. So if we martched on it and were detained or shot at then it would be a terrorist act. The men in camo do not officially represent our goverment. Anyone can arm themselves and dress in military fatigues. They would have no recourse legally.

I'm not condoning doing anything illigal here but if it isnt legally there then we should have nothing to fear. If the goverment at least recognised it as an official facility then it would be a different matter. I would never think of breaking into a official U.S. base.

It doesn't matter if they lie about it. If there are signs prohibiting your entry, then entering will be illegal (or deadly).

there are signs, they say use of deadly force authorised. on tresspassing. there are a whold fuck load of sensors that can hear you and see you. on top of that there are sensors that can actually Smell you, and Feel the vibrations of your feet, and a goverment security force (teyre the ones that are going to shoot you)

possibly you could have a massive amount of people start marching on to area 51.... maybee a few thousand, and some might make it up there, although some would probably start running when the first few people got shot, or teargassed

what you are describing is a terrorist orginisation.. and the goverment does acknowladge the existance of it.

during the clinton years he signed into law a bill that prohibits any outside law enforcment from investigating area 51

Seriously, I take that back. But it is extremely unlikely there are spacecraft and aliens there.

I'm with Seuss here: army guards will not kid around. And also remember that the Berlin Wall was guarded with minefields and sniping machines as early as the 1970s. It's a low-tech cost effective thing to do.

If it is a base packed to the brim with classified stuff you'll be killed plain and simple.
The senator story was funny though.. the poor guy :evil:

I wouldn't say it is a terrorist organization. I would say it is a highly-classified military research base that is kept secret (for a good reason).

theres mine fields long before you can even get around the surrounding hills. Theres motion sensors (probably passive infared to detect a human heta sig), and quite likely drone aircraft with all kinds of thermal imaging and missles. Good luck. They wouldnt hesitate to mow down anyone out there.
