This sucks. I thought he was a decent guy. Just for the record an Iraqi judge signed the warrants and the investigation is being done by the Iraqis. Our boys were their for security reasons. I didn't realize the Jordanians wanted him for embezzlement of over $1,000,000,000!

The US is going to dump the Iraq war on him now, I think. Seems like the same thing (becoming a scapegoat) happens to all the "leaders" the US props up in the Mid East.

BS. We aren't going to dump anything on him. We have been pissed for a while that the weapons he swore were there have not turned up though. He was not the only source of intelligence though. There is no way any administration will be stupd enough to try to pin that on one guy. Hell they have already admitted to having faulty intelligence and underestimating the "insurgents". I got to give them credit for admitting when they are wrong. No war is going to go perfectly.

Ya know, this guy is the perfect poster boy for these swine. If he could have kept his head down and his fingers out of the til for even a little while he could have had a huge role in the incoming Iraqi government. But no, the douchebag couldn't delay his thievery even a little bit. The Iraqis desperately need to find just one leader with integrity who is not a religious figure. Hell, ALL of the Arabs need to find just one of their own. There's milions of them and ALL of their leaders suck. Could it be a cultural thing?????
