 Dried Mushies are better

at least for my friend they are. He says that fresh mushies make him more jumpy and feel a crappy body stone. He says the open eye visuals are weird and more black and white as well as maze patterned. He has always had extremely colorful expiriencs with dried shrooms and likes how the trip hits him all at once. He has found that he laughs a lot when he does shrooms, but more so when they are fresh. He definantly prefers his shrooms dried and will be drying them from now on before he does them (except maybe for a few occasions). Anyone have any ideas why the trip is better for him when the shrooms are dried? Does it have to do with the psilocybin being there and less psilocin? Well, he says "Thanks for the help!" and I'm sure he will be interested in your replies.

i just prefer dried because of the potency and how fewer shrooms i need. one day i want to try fresh tho....

I too am curious about this. My FOAF has always done dried, but he is interested in trying wet next time. I suspect the added volume/taste will be extra yucky. ;-(

I also have wondered about this... On the dosage calculator (on this site) it tells you how many grams you need to eat to obtain a certain level of trip......On the calc is a choice of dry or fresh. What I want to know is... Is it just the weight of them that is different or by drying the shrooms does the amount of psilocybin increase or change at all.......As for fresh shrooms being yuck... I totally disagree, I enjoy the smell the taste and consistancy of a scrumptios fresh shroom

Well, I've heard wet tastes different/better than dried..?
You wouldn't think it would make a difference, but apparently it does? I will have to try wet and see :P
...I guess they don't recycle pidgeons.

In fresh mushies there is a much higher amount of psilocin (not psilocybin) than in dried mushies. This is one of the things that makes freshies better, for most ( i've only ate fresh, but it is just logic that they would be more potent with more psychoactives). As far as hitting you all at the same time: simply put your freshies in a blender, with some kind of juice, and liquify. drink up and it will hit you hard and fast.

fresh mushrooms taste awesome. the texture is different then anything else. there also going to more potent becuase its fresh. i tend to prefer fresh mushrooms to dried. dried mushrooms have a different texture and arent as potent.
