good report n all, but alot of it didn't make any sense.. WHY would they have given you the placbo last, that wouln't be a good expericence to test whatever they were testing with the low/mid/placebo doses.

Also this went unfinished :frown: :frown:

why give the placebo last?

I think its randomized for different people in the study - somebody ELSE got it first probably..

I have tourette's, and ive made appropriate arrangements with the appropriate people who are either going to find placing for me in an existing study, or tailor one around me, and ive finding's are as expected,will have me working with positive specialist's who will get me met pot.

It calms my ticks down, but its the only thing that calm's me down and relieve's my anxious/paranoia, and also the only thing that put's me to sleep (sleeping pills DONT work), i start smoking weed to sleep. Anxiety and insomnia, aswell as drug abuse...are common symptom';s of tourette's, and i never have major seizure's while im high :wink:

Look in the back of newspapers, particularly ones that cater to the college-aged and subculture crowds.  The Village Voice -always- has ads wanting people to be experimented on.  :smile:

Also, if you look at billboards in colleges, you'll sometimes find various ads.  There was one advertising for ecstacy users last semester at my college.  Too bad I didn't use ecstacy.  :wink:

Interesting to note how the story came out when the different amounts of psilocybin were administered. Lots more detail and insightfulness. True or not a great story.

At the universtiy of arizona they are doing the 1st .. goverment oked testing of mushrooms "on" human beings .... tests are being run by Dr, andrew weil and students .....they are hoping to find a use for mushrooms in treating
OCD (obssesivive compulsive disorder)

ha, i apologize to all you good people here for my sudden vanish. frankly, i don't even remember what it was that got me all tangled up and sucked up my ability to post. (---> :stoned:?)

alright, obviously the memories of the mild dose are quite faded by now, but i think nothing too exciting happened. hmpf.

remember though the one experiment where i had to look at this illusion of a spinning sphere and push a button whenever it seemed to change directions? well, here it is:



oh, funnily enough some think this is all made up, i dunno, maybe a link to the guys website who was involved in this study will make it more believable?
