Thank you for your solid example and I agree your correct that it is easy to see faces in many objects, theres probably nothing mystical about it.

The difference with people seeing aliens (what this thread is essential about) is that there is no pattern to produce the alien craft and beings.

Your example relies on the brain making pictures out of random patterns.  In many well documented incidents multiple witnesses have seen alien craft/aliens and there has not been no pattern to trigger the mental process you speak of.

As in the Pascagoula incident two seperate people hear a craft and turn to see a craft and alien beings. This cannot be accounted for by hallucination (as I explained above), lies are out of the picture (they passed lie detector tests and spy recordings of their conversations) and there was no 'glass window' or pattern (nothing for them to misinterpret). Of course, not to mention the fact that this is one of many many similar incidents reported by seperate individuals world over.
