If you explain it as a hallucination still then how do two seperate brains hallucinate the same thing? This idea sounds more far fetched than aliens to me!!!

I have seen a hundred thousand people in Florida view an aberration in a bank glass window as the "Virgin Mary". I have no explanation for such human silliness.

Eh, you haven't seen anything until you watch a hundred thousand people stand in awe at the sight of a statue of the Virgin "weeping" after a particularly humid Florida night. None seem to notice that everything else left out overnight also drips with dew at dawn.

Hallucinations...

It's a shortcut-explanation for anything. If you don't feel like thinking too much about some phenomenon, call it a hallucination.

Question: (This requires some roleplaying on your part)

-Suppose you're an alien, from intergalactic origin (not important from where). You are technologically superior in every respect of the world, and by virtue of that one could assume that your philosophical discipline is just as superior (else you would have wiped and/or decimated yourself as a species by way of the superior technology, which has ultimately allowed you to advance to the degree to be spacefaring and visiting earth).

With all that said... If you really do have superior technology, why would you abduct humans to give them anal probes, dissect and mutilate cows, and play with human agriculture (crop circles)? (Is earth like an Alien vacation spot or somethin'?)

That is similar to this...

Two dogs have a conversation.
One of them says:
Supose those planes ARE flowm by humans. Now why would humans
want to travel at all? I mean the have everything in the neighbourhood, food, watter and females, what other possible things
could they need?
The other one says: Yea that's stupid, those planes are probably
some kind of birds.

So basicly, us humans are discussing the logic of beings
that are ten times more intelligent than us.

In this case you can not use the argument: "if I were"
because you don't know what would you think if your brain was more evolved by a million years of evolution.

Based upon the IIT (Intergalactic Intelligence Test)?

In this case you can not use the argument: "if I were" because you don't know what would you think if your brain was more evolved by a million years of evolution.

Hmmm, let's see (by best current estimates):

Bacteria: hundreds of millions of years old

Sharks: 50 million years old

Homo Sapiens: a few million years old

I see what you are getting at.

Yeah equally when people say "They couldn't travel here because they couldn't travel beyond the speed of light" this theory is flawed by human perspective.

They could be closer, to us, than to need to use faster than speed of light travel. The speed of light theory could be (prolly is) incomplete/incorrect. They could be using wormhole or teleportation technology. The literature certainly suggests that the latter is true.

And the "why would they want to come here and see us" arguement. Its crazy! How could we possibly know why when where dealing with a species we know nothing about!

It really makes me laugh at such closed minded arguements, I mean to think that there are no other possibilities!

Assumption not an IQ test.

And this analising of my examplary numbers is not an argument.
I am not on trial here, a concept and a theory is on trial. I could well be retarded, yet that does not mean I am not representing the truth, nor does it mean I am, in fact it doesn't say anything about the theory we are discussing here. To be more specific, if you don't like "million", then put "billion" instead.

so, you're saying aliens exist, and visit earth, because the dogs in your story are wrong? what if you'd chosen a story about dogs who think clouds are flown by humans? then they decide, nah, clouds are probably just some kind of bird... what the hell does that prove? is this some kind of crazy new logic I haven't heard of yet?

You missed the point of the story..

The dogs can not even begin to imagine how humans think, regardless if humans are real or just concepts and imaginary ideas.
Even if aliens are not real, the idea of aliens is that if they have more advanced technology, they are more intelligent.
So illusions or not, you can't speculate about their logic, just as you can't speculate about the logic of tooth-fairies because they don't think the same way we do

And as for your version of story..

Your version of the story proves the same point mine did

Do you read what you write or just blurt it out? Just say "NO!" to drugs.

If Creature B is merely an imaginary concoction of a Creature A, then Creature A could certainly imagine how it's imaginary creature could think.
