Southern queensland season?

Has anyone spent time hunting around southern parts queensland or more specificaly south brisbane?

I was wondering if I would have much luck finding Cubes or similar in the current climate.

I live near a farm with plenty of cows and a river (logan) running through it.

hey blurk. i have been finding cubes recently, but only after heavy rains and there doesn't seem to be heaps around even then. is spring the most prosperous season for growth? i have a feeling it will be better hunting in a month or so!

Bit early yet. The season will really kick into gear around late april/early may til around august.

perfect timing. i'll be moving north to start living self-sufficiently around that time of year. the property has a river so all i need is some cows! hehe

haha how trippy is that i actually pick many many cubes on the logan river...closer to the mouth of the river....not telling where tho.To many to pick at present there popping up every i look.
