Brisbane Mushie Hunting!

So the season is finally coming up on us. Anyone on these forms live in the Brisbane area and wouldn't mind taking me out on a mushie hunt with them as I am new to Brizzy?

Seasons over man! It started in June, and went throughly downhill during and after August.

The season is just starting to go nuts in America though. :grin:

Um i think hes referring to cube and cope season.
I think the prime time is Jan/Feb but you might be able to find some soon after humid temps and rain in cowfields of cow dung.

Look up psilocybe cubensis and panaelous cyanescens on google or here ... check blue meanies site too.

You might be right! I've never really seen anyone post about hunting cubes in Austrailia, I thought it was pretty much only subs. Are they as easy to find as say in America or are they generally pretty rare?

Ive never hunted em but in queensland id say theyd be fairly common, also present in north NSW. Although i doubt as common as america. Most aussies think its only subs so you dont tend to hear about a lot of finds.

EDIT: oh yeah they dont grow in VIC,SA, or NZ. Just the sub tropics - tropics
