Well, i've been lurking with you guys for about five months now in anticipation of doing some of my own psilocybin mushroom hunting. I live in the Bay Area in California and as i've come to understand the season for mushrooms is approaching. Is there any estimations you could give me that would be the earliest time to hunt that could give results? even a little chance is enough to entertain and please me.
Well, the season for Ps. cyanescens is Sep. - Dec. and sometimes into January. The bay area is practically similar to Oregon and Washington, so I'd say,"Start looking mid-Sep. and keep on keeping on until you've found them!".
Ps. Stuntzii may appear in your area. It likes the same sorts of environment, etc. Possibly Ps. baeocystis, too.
You'll find 'em if you look like you mean it!
