DMT substrate- does it work?

If I boiled some desmanthus illinoensis rootbark in acidic water overnight, then strained off the water, could I use this water instead of regular water when following the mmgg? Does DMT actually increase potentcy?

whether dmt increases potency is yet to be determined, both quantitatively and subjectively, however, the presence of DMT in the substrate would probably not increase psilocybin/psilocin amounts as DMT is poorly, possibly not at all, assimilated into the organism.

theoretically, if you could supply the DMT internally to the organism, it is reasonable to assume that it would increase potency.
