My finds at the Olympic National Park - Kalaloch
    #3219005 - 10/05/04 04:13 PM (19 years, 5 months ago)

Here is some info of the area i was in.

The West End is also home to two of Olympic National Parks natural wonders the temperate rain forest and 63 miles of Olympic coastline.

Rain-forest country, where you will discover the green wonders of nature in Olympic National Park, is south of Forks Washington off Highway 101. It is a wet and wild forest with huge 500-year-old trees. With about 150 inches of annual rainfall, timber grows there faster than anywhere else.

Found this little guy on a tree.

Looks like Sulfur Tufts to me. They're poisonous.

Kalaloch2004145.jpg is Hypomyces chrysospermus which is parasitizing a bolete of some sort. The 2 pics above that seem to be suggest maybe Stropharia Ambigua, but I can't be sure. The one above those definitely resemble sulfur tufts.
