1) you weren't convicted, or you'd know. A conviction results after a trial or after you plea guilty. If you didn't plead guilty or nolo contendre, you aren't convicted

2) it wasn't a felony

3) The record was adjudicated.

I was thinking security and safety. The law questions there seem to be more personal in nature than here. Still, hire someone who has access. A paralegal type would probably be adequate.

Also, a lot of states will expunge a minor juvenile record to give them a fresh start. It's easy to check. If they did that with yours, you can honestly answer you've never been convicted of a misdemeanor.

If you never saw a judge and/or went to court you werent convicted of anything.

Just go down to the police station and ask for a copy of your record. It will cost about $10 and they will print it up and hand it to you.

Heck, if you what to know what the FBI has on you, you just fill out a form and send it in. The information is here --> http://foia.fbi.gov/

Same for the DOJ here --> http://www.usdoj.gov/04foia/index.html

All of this is required under US Code TITLE 5, PART I, CHAPTER 5, SUBCHAPTER II, Sec. 552.

Then your questions are answered.

It is public record and not some secret, all you have to do is ask.
