In the states considered borderline or ones suddenly  maybe competive for Dems, the early mail in voting is way way higher than last midterm, and in some cases way higher than 2024.

if dems win, the time between winners being declared and winners being seated is going to be chaos at the federal level.  trump is going to poison the *shit* out of that well.  I expect massive escalation with iran, then in january (*if* the winning dems are even seated), the right wing propaganda machine starts hanging all of trump/republican's failures on the dems.

I've been alive long enough to see this cycle happen over and over, but trump really weaponized it.  republicans always get power, fuck things up, then blame the dems that get elected to fix it.

if dems win enough power to do anything, they better fucking do something because while this is far from a "both sides" thing, dems have been faaaaaaaaaar too milquetoast in their response to what has been happening for the past 10 years.  I do think we're starting to elect people that are pissed off and see things for what they are, but dems have a whole lotta geriatric status quo motherfuckers that would apparently rather not rock the boat/gravy train.

Don't hold your fuckin breath... If you're counting on Democrats for anything you're in for disappointment. The only thing they consistently deliver on is failing to deliver.

The Democratic establishment is turning on voters. They are actively fighting mildly progressive candidates tooth and nail.

Here in Michigan, Haley Stevens came put for Mike Rogers. Schumer wouldn't even support Mamdani. The Democratic party incumbants all need to be thrown the FUCK out.

... Im sure people will be giving them kudos for the next 10 years for putting things back the shitty way they were before Trump came along.

I don't buy the paint the whole party by one member unless the rest of them are protecting that member like they do for trump.  That has been the republican game the whole time.  Pick one and say that is the whole party.  She can change and good riddance but the democrats as a whole will get what they can get by what they can get enough of them to vote for and a president will sign. 

It is not as easy as everybody wants to believe in their minds and backlash is also a real thing and mad people work harder then happy people.  Backlash to trump and his traitors is going to benefit us for now.  Obama care benefited more then before it existed and I wanted more but am smart enough to know it made the republicans work harder with some success. 

Yes, I want more but we better bring some kind of support group after they win that doesn't change on a whim and bring understanding of how hard politics are or we will just be blaming them and fucking ourselves more in the next election.

Bigbadwoof  I think you are partially wrong in hate the guys as you elect them.  The people not the politician drives the car and the people up to now switch back and forth.  Only changing that will get things done.

I will be proudly casting my vote for Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed. A man as American as corn bread, with one hell of a pedigree. The more I see of him the more I like, for real.

He reminds me of the best qualities I see in people, here in Michigan.

Its good that Pelosi has finally voiced her support for el sayed.

Haley stevens is like john fetterman in being the worst examples.

Haley is more or a corporate democrat but one who leans most into the direction of her aipac backings.

There never was the argument made by me to paint the whole party by one member, but to isolate certain members like Stevenson and Pelosi and compare their current actions.

Schumer has had a poor history like how he didnt endorse mamdani, but he has now endorsed el sayed which is noteworthy.

There are very few decent politicians in the Democratic party, sorry to say.

I will say, on a personal level, I really like this Talarico guy. I very much like Ilhan Omar, and Ro Khanna. Obviously, Mamdani is great, and AOC, has been relatively spineless and unserious, but she us alright. I really like El Sayed.

Some of these new up and coming DSA candidates that I am very loosely familiar with, like the black woman down in Florida, etc... I think will probably turn out to be very good.

The party we currently have today is a useless vestigal appendage. I don't know how you can possibly believe the things you say about them. The only reason Trump has ever won is because Democrats refused to allow demoracy to play out in the primaries.
