I got this one from a local hardware store (Amazon Link)


It worked pretty good for me when making a casing for Pans. You take a sample of the substrate. add water to make it kind of muddy/ soupy and stick it in there and it tells you on a digital screen

How did you check if it works? Did you actually use it in solutiva with a known pH? Or is it just that you didn’t get contamination while allowing your pans to grow?

I bought one similar to this a few weeks ago and realised that either the pH meter or my vinagre was broken. It said it had a pH of 6.5.

The outsides look so nice. For me, by the time the inside looks like that, the rest of the fruit body is similarly nasty. IDK if I've ever seen it in an orderly ring like that.

i think abot too inject some cc lc again for better hydration sounds maybe bad but i dont think the jars are ready soon... i did a fuck mistake shacke them 2 times they look so good vebore and i did this shit mistake maybe i start new but i have saved 1 good looking jar the rest maybe are gone but i try too inject some cc again for hydration when its fuckt up i start new then its ok i have 1 good looking jar left. next time i only shake 1 time and tape 3 layers of tape for slower air exchange. the good think is i dont see any mold ore so ore bacteria but maybe when the grains are too dry the mycelium can eat them?
