Thankee!  Started doin' it when I had more batches of different kinds of sauce and I couldn't tell 'em apart visually, lol.  Honestly, I should've made 'em bigger, but I'm runnin' low on masking tape, which sucks and is lame, but eh.

Maybe I'll get to test the ~*~sAuCe~*~ soon and see how it actually tastes.  Assuming it doesn't burn my fucking tongue off, lol.

When does three body problem get good? I'm 2.5 hours in and it's about as interesting as listening to paint dry. I'm seriously wondering if it's worth it to finish.

Maybe I've just been spoiled by a bunch of books in a row whose writing is more my style.

Hey Fid- keep your chin up fella. I got family history of skin cancer, told myself I'd get checked at 40, finally did it this year 12 years later. Full body scan (butthole, between the toes, everywhere). One spot- the one that made me finally book a look- was suspect. Turned out "pretty much not", but got removed anyway. Still have to book the follow up. It didn't get my dad and he was riddled with it, good old old age there. I have my money on a win on yer shins.

there's a whole bit about the cultural revolution in the beginning that is a bit of a slog. if you make it out of that part and still aren't in, then yeah, perhaps not for you. i remember being a bit turned off by the intro. it gets better. astonishing series. I picked it up because barack fucking obama's review was "this book makes my problems feel small".

Fuck the TV shows tho

thanks buddy thanks everyone for all the kind words. I feel alot better about it this afternoon than I did this morning and after talking to my mom I got some reassurance, although half of it is just literally putting it out of my mind so I don't go crazy thinking about it, and going through everything logically listing all the reasons why it shouldn't or couldn't be cancer. First of all the way it developed and how long it has been there, along with a number of other incidnetal circumstances surrounding it, including presenting on the shins themselves, is not at all classical behavior or in any way germane to the way real melanoma and other skin cancers present. It's just talking myself down. At the end of the day I just need to get checked by the derma and that's it. I n the meantime I'm just gonna gtry to not hink about it but all the love here has helped calm me down a good deal and take my mind off it. my mom is doing good she's watching 24 season 6 which is my favorite season the one where the Chinese terrorists steal the nuclear device.

So I'm really liking "We are Legion. We are Bob".

Without giving out too many spoilers, the short description is this:

Just after someone signs up to have his head cryogenically frozen after death, he gets Truck-Kun'd and ends up with his consciousness inhabiting a von Neumann probe.

I'm about 5.5 hours in and really enjoying it.

So far I'd give it a 10/10.
