thanks for the thoughts man, my shins have always been fucked up since as long as i remember and i wasn't taking good care of myself so it might be something with malnutrition or not enough exercise, but I don't see how those things would be tied toa  skin condition or dermatological issue. I haven't noticed any change in the scars but they've gotten bigger and some of them look like they're 'spreading'

Try not to self diagnose yourself to insanity my bud. Cancer puts a special kind of fear in you for sure but duder, gotta get a dermatologist to look at it and do biopsy.  Just takes a minute. 

True, scars can cause "pre cancerous" tissue that kinda looks scary.  I have quite a number of them including a few on my face.  They have ways of treating it bud. namely chemo cream that works like i cant even believe.

Whatever happens itll be alright but just speaking as someone whos dealt with a ton of skin cancer,

Basal or sqoumous cell cancer would be super uncommon to see on the shins. Just not something you see alot.

Anyway bud.  Just dont want you goin down the self-diag ai rabbit hole.  Ai is programmed to tell you the worst case scenario because its covering its own ass.

Put the worry aside until you get that biopsy result.  Love you dude.

Two years, it's strange to me because it doesn't feel like two years has passed already but on the other hand I barely remember a life where I wasn't growing mushrooms :lol:

And the feeling is mutual man and we seem to have this unknown understanding between us, maybe we have a common way of viewing and processing the human experience despite the different lives we've lived, I don't know, what I do know is that you've been nothing but amazing and being a part of your inner circle will always be special to me, so thank you brother and as always the pleasure is mine :hug:

I made another batch of hot sauce after a long absence!  Every single pepper (and the tomatoes) were home grown, as well.  A fermented mix of Pepper X, Carolina Reapers, Armageddon peppers, and fish peppers blended with a fistful of Norfolk purple tomatoes, a pinch of powdered basil, and some wild chives.  Tossed into a pressure cooker w/ a cup of vinegar, cooked down for 'bout 45 some-odd minutes (just kinda let it cook while I had lunch, lol), and blended 'til smooth w/ some xanthan gum to keep it from separating.

Have yet to test it--it's still cooling in the fridge--but even w/ the pressure cooker containing most of the raging hate coming from it, the air's still a bit spicy.  Not as bad as batches past, but enough that my nose is runnin', lol.

[I know, the labels are missin' a thing or two.  I was runnin outta space AND kinda forgot what all I put in it til just now, lol.]
