Sorry if this is stupid but how r u guys getting ur stuff OUT of stasis? Like, just rip off a piece of the paper, or treat it like LC? If you drop a wedge of agar into a vial, do u just tear off a piece? or, like, what?

I've had good results with all of:

- Flaming an inoculation loop, dipping in the stasis bottle/cryovial, then streaking an agar plate
- Pouring a glug into a PF-tek or coir+BRF cake, BRF puck, etc., then cloning pins/myc (using it like LI)
- Using flamed fine-tip tweezers to grab the agar bit out of a little cryovial and transferring to agar

I tend to treat small cryovials as one-use backups (either pour as LI or tweeze out the agar) but will dip/streak or pour from bottles. My older stuff is in smaller bottles, but I've mostly been using redundant storage in 2-5 ml cryovials since then because they don't take up much space.

Also a cheap set of pimple popping tools are great after a quick flaming.
