Do you happen to have a thread that shows or explains the sterilisation of cover slips and applying them? I mean it's not rocket science but I'm sure there's an efficient way that's been established.

What a sight!

Did your EZ Dial work for everything that you've run, or did certain vars need micropore adding/removing at certain stages?

This is something I need to do more research on.

It ran fine untaped for everything. Only thing i taped with packing tape was pans just cause I wanted a real shift to compensate for the lower than ideal FAE. It worked somewhat.

@ shroomeus - So its all in the comments there. i read all 9 pages but to save you the headache,,,

Cover slips are super thin, i got some that are 0.15mm thick, this is very thin fragile and not recomended based on experience. after the PC cycle they become brittle and jsut gripping them with tweezers too hard can shatter them.

That being said, Kloakk said he just runs then when he does his agar, so 20-30 minutes @15psi is plenty.

I wrapped each slip in aluminum foil so they are all individually wrapped. PC'ed for 25 minutes when I poured my agar. Broke the first on I grabbed with the tweezers, 2nd worked fine after I realized how fragile they are. I order 1,000 of them for $15,,,, so i'll use them until they are gone unless i get sick of using them that thin.

Click the Image button,


When the pop up comes up click chose file,


After you have loaded a picture, click 'ok' and it will add it to the post
Once you select the picture it will create a URL for your picture.



After you have uploaded a picture, you don't have to re-upload,, you can click the My Pics button and it will bring you to your library.


That will bring you to all the pictures you uploaded and you can copy previously uploaded URLs



simply Copy the URL from your library to recall old pics, or upload new ones.
