I believe in my heart, it is a huge benefit to the site. I believe it mitigates toxicity. To remove it would be like sewing up your butthole.

Wow, that really puts it into perspective 🤔

It's bigger than black and white
It's a problem with the whole way of life
It can't change overnight
But we gotta start somewhere
Might as well go ahead start here
We had a hell of a year
I'ma make it count while I'm here

I propose we make our own otd threads in journals like it used to be, and we flame the pos' in otd and let em know how we feel.

Make our own space there.

Thats what im sayin.

We go make a space in there to put em down, then settle at home in journal land where we have moderation power.

I mean its our otd too and we can put them in their place if we chose too. Ive never chosen to give that place my energy.

Then we also spend time in journals where we can shoot the shit without the weight of quenching hatred

All my most scandalous threads are either moved into my Journal or they are deleted and I request to have them moved into my journal. I suspect there's only one moderator that does that but it's recurrent enough that my journal kind of has a lot of views in it now.

I have tried. Few came.

Im not the most active in general, let alone have much off topic to say to get the convo going.

Its easier to say im not good at drawing a crowd lol

Hmmm tell me more about this journal culture. Is this like when pheno hunters had the custom subforum thing, or was it literally everyone posting in their own journal?

Incredible record. Real gud plate pourin' tunes.
