Astro! Astro! Astro!

The wife is going to do something with jazz today, and I think I'm relatively open-minded and in for new things. But I don't do jazz, fuck that shit sideways. So.

Instead today seems a fair day to sample zapotecorum for the first time. Get lost in the forest, maybe meet a leprechaun or whatever.

They look... Shady. Black at the cuts and blue where I handled them.

Whaddup, Churp?

You donโ€™t like jazz? Iโ€™m disappointed in you, sir! I love the beauty and the chaos in a lot of it. The weird time signatures toss me for a loop. Plus, some of the old crooners and torch singers were masters of using the voice as an instrument. Check out Strange Fruit sung by the legendary Billie Holiday. The way she sings that song would turn many a punk singer into a shriveled ball of inferiority.

Be careful with them Zaps, homie. I heard they pack a punch. Let us know the flavor profile. Happy trails, dude!

Fuck yeah it would! Iโ€™m pretty sure Iโ€™ve seen a few hillbilly pumpkins while driving through the Illinois/Kentucky border.

I agree, most of those old farts sure know which side of a guitar to play on, or sing like a chain-smoking nightingale.

But you know... For most of us out there, the soft and reassuring chants of the average punk singer sound like someone is throwing human-pig crosses into a shredder. I'm not talking about the decent crosses here. The human-pig equivalent of Enigma or PE blobs. The things that tear and stain and pop out legs from the skull. So, as far as comparison material goes...

Ahem sorry got carried away there. Anyway no, consider me a complete barbarian, if there's chairs involved in a concert I will not be there. Stroboscopes, walls of sound, half-deaf human guinea pigs and basslines with the speed and intensity of anti-aircraft cannons, yes.

You might notice that I'm also pretty excited about the zaps. Healthy level of anxiety.

If you're romping around the forest look for mushrooms. Foods abundant rn and theres nothing quite like grocery shopping on a hike

Eat more.

I don't really agree with "eat more", though not to say you are entirely wrong.

Take Hillbilly just as an example. Known to be a very relaxing var.

If OP's "not strong enough" means that they aren't getting certain desired effects that come with certain vars, species, or batches, for example an intense head high / brain feeling fully switched on, then simply eating more isn't going to change that. I've tried this in multiple cases, and taking more did not give much variation in effect. In this specific example, it just makes one more sleepy/tired.

Then you get the case of duds. Rare, but happens. I've had tidal waves that did nothing. 7g, nothing. 14g, nothing. Increasing made no difference.

The obvious answer is to first try different cubes, and see if any particular var or batch gives one the effects they are looking for, before moving onto exotic species.

Hey Churp!
