These guys are great at growing, but they are really lacking in the fuck things up department I must say. Not need to wonder, I have also embarked on the neglected shoebox endeavour and it shows check out these funky freaks









I am delightfully surprised these have very similar mutant like expressions just as their semp cousin.
So, can anyone advise me what to do with these? I really want to print but it seems like that is out of question. Should I harvest, should I wait?

You can probably print a few of those grab a cap cut stem off it put on tinfoil and put a drop or 2 of water on the cap n put a shot glass over it. Itl help to build pressure n drop spores while preventing dehydration n helping the cap to develop more before it drys out.

I don't have the leucistic genes, but the ones I got was pretty strong, stronger then my Subtropicalis Never tried them fresh though

Yes, I would say mine was pretty close to pans. I took 1 gram almost straight out the dehydrator

So it's kind of hard to explain the experience, but in one word, playful. In a sentence, like a mushroom child who just found out it has abilities to alter a human mind and pushed through all the buttons.

I'll try to make sense of it as short as possible, both which I'm pretty bad at

So I took one dried gram, crushed them in my hands and swallowed with a sip of water, it took only 10 minutes before I felt it coming on and I knew one gram was not dipping my toes

I would guess the first half hour or so was very relaxed, nice head high, small color change and more obvious shadow movements from the tea light candles. No confusing thought pattern or hard to move around.

About 50 minutes in I could feel the experience shifting, I suddenly got a heavy bodyload and euphoria rushing in, but still very clear minded and I remember thinking to myself that Papuana reminded me a lot of Subtropicalis, which I find very relaxing and down to earth, maybe even a little too down to earth sometimes as it really dig inwards for me.

Somewhere between one hour to one and a half hour in I got up to fill my water bottle and I was moving like a drunk person, heavy bodyload and my thoughts were no longer clear and more chaotic then even on cubes, which for me can be very confusing at times lol, but unlike with high doses of cubes it was not scary in any way. And I did manage to find my way back to the room with a filled water bottle and even fumbled enough to find my vape

Since my thoughts were racing, but I felt good I had the grand idea of putting on a movie to have something for my mind to follow along with, put on ghost in the shell with Scarlett. I had seen it before when it came out, but it was hard enough to get the PC mouse to move the way I wanted it to so I picked the first half interesting thing I found on Netflix

Shortly after starting the movie there was a new shift in the experience, bodyload faded until I felt light as a feather, no racing thoughts and I closed my eyes in relief for two seconds while I took a huge breath. When I opened my eyes again I had so vivid open eyes visuals that I could no longer see what was happening in the movie, no particular patterns or anything, but just blue neon outlines trying to construct an image.

What was new about that was that I could hear the dialogue and soundtrack from the movie crystal clear I watched almost the whole movie without seeing anything clearly and I actually ended up seeing it again the day after the trip

With other mushroom species they usually take one or the other form and are pretty consistent, if I get heavy bodyload it stays until the experience is fading, same with racing and confusing thoughts, or the opposite where I'll get strong OEV's or almost non at all.

And that is why I am using the word playful to describe Papuana, I went through so many different states that normally never happen in one trip. Semilanceata(libs) always plays out the same way for me except strong or mild depending on dose. They feel ancient and mystical, cubes feel confusing and grounded.

Papuana felt like they just had received their powers and had not yet decided which powers to choose and so tried them all, never at the same time or the same combination, like a child pressing different buttons just to see the outcome.

Sounds like quite a fun experience. Some things you describe also match my feeling about ochras, although I am sure these are more refined. Specifically, the child like behaviour or new soul energy is exactly how I would describe my ochra trip so I believe I can relate to that. I haven’t tripped for such a long time I am kinda nervous about it, but I also do not want to waste such an opportunity because it may not come again for a very long time. So I think I will go for the 10g fresh if I actually get to do it.

I am a big fan of grandiose trips with profound realisations and life changing emotional release, but tbh I am just looking for a fun ride this time. Of course you can’t always get what you want, let’s see if I get what I need
