Well, I've returned once again from a two month break. Summer was hectic on multiple levels and my grows struggled with diminished returns, possibly from heat and neglect. I may have to succumb to the consensus of pausing grows during summer months.

Nonetheless, I have three jars of tamp stones about a week away from the 4 month mark and more grain jars ready to accept wedges, so I have enough to get going again. Always happy to see this place carrying on :stoned:

Anyone like EDM here? If so, I'd recommend watching Fred again.. on NPR's Tiny Desk. I always find myself going back to it.



His song Delilah (pull me out of this) got me through the worst part after losing my twin. I would listen to it on repeat while telling myself that I would not survive this loss and wondering what did I ever do to deserve this life and that I don't want it anymore. The lyrics were strong for me and the music is upbeat, and I think that's what kept me from spiraling deeper and darker.

If you're not a fan of EDM, the original song is by Delilah Montagu - Lost Keys and I absolutelylove that version also. Anyway, thought I'd share in case anyone's going through some shit.

my little kitty and og shroomerite had some kind of cardiac/asthmatic attack and passed out. mushwife saw her collapse and gave cpr and saved her life. right now kitty is in kitty icu. we should be able to pick her up in the morning but it may be her heart. shes 14 and has been the best cat you could ever imagine. i just hope shes ok.

she came into my life at the tail end of addiction and was with me thru sobriety im boarder line falling apart but i think ive learned enough to not allow that negativity to consume me.

Wishing a quick recovery for your furry friend, I'm really sorry to hear about the scare you guys had. It's amazing mushwife was able to perform cpr and you guys got her in capable hands for the recovery process. Dude I'm so sorry to hear this. I love my cat and dont even want to think about going through something like this. I hope she's 100% in the morning and it was just an episode. The picture of her in the shoebox is adorable! Please give an update❤️

It was a good day. Toward to end of the trip I started feeling kinda rough. We didn't eat anything before dosing. Drank a smoothie halfway through and sipped tea with honey. Next time we'll eat a small breakfast beforehand. It was a good day, all in all.

I confess. I haven't contributed much to this community so I'm gonna attempt to contribute by getting my hands on some Pluteus salicinus genetics n attempting to get it cultivated and spores distributed to the community eventually.

Just a pipe dream for now though I do plan on it eventually.

I confess that it's a relief to finally see Kloakk tagged. The suspence! And JW, also really, really deserved. And Bigworm, I haven't really interacted with you somehow, but your work speaks volumes.

We went to a day fest yesterday, with the kids, and I felt really groggy after waking up, but this round of tagging really lifted my spirit.

That was just a joke lol. About midway through pouring plates yesterday I grabbed the entire next plate and started pouring on a lid instead of a bottom 😅

I confess, I was lazy yesterday and didn't wanna drive the extra ten minutes to go get the bags of sorghum I've been doing grain prep with and am comfortable with, and grabbed a couple bags of millet from the closer store instead. I've never used millet before and figured it couldn't be that different, it did not go so well 🙃 maybe the longer time needed for the lower psi instant pot just isnt the move with millet
