Well dont mind if I do! I did my last forage and woodland frolic about a week ago.
I've heard a fair few say what a disappointing season it was but for me, it was one of the best.
130+ in total over a few different visits to my usual patch of the past 15yrs!

However this season, for the first time ever, I found a whole new patch - ONLY 20MINS AWAY! HUZZAH!
Here is a some pics from the first patch - particularly sweet because I found this new patch with someone I'm a little smitten with hehe, so it was a mega magical serendipitous day which kick-started the season as June began!

Also this 2026 season was my first time learning it really doesn't matter if you pull them out.
I was taught way back when to always snip\cut them at their base and leave the ground undisturbed.
However via another group, I was scoffed at as actual research has been done over the past 15yrs and found if anything, pulling them out of the ground is probably the best method (the Mycelium *wants* to be disturbed so it can spread).

Fascinating how Old Reliable patch is late to bloom, peak and finish - tho an early Spring ended it earlier this year.
While the new patch began "early" for me (June) - which Im not use to as always been July-August. Super amazing now I got 2 patches that cover the entire season really.
MIND YOU, fucking brought home a deadly one!, luckily I always glance at them daily\hourly and by doing so, spotted the little mofo!

Keen to try micro-dosing this Summer so defs plenty to enjoy and embellish!
