Can I use agar-mycellius without oats?

Hello, I have 2 jars with mycellius. 1 without airport, another with airport. in first I see a small mycellius just a layer. On another that I did a day ago I see big a white fluff. I not have a enough money for a life, I have trouble with money. So I did agar on water (distillates), a potato ~100g + a honey ~7ml. My spores is more than 5 years been in book. before I did it on oats, so, I can wait when all agar is been eated and after put in oats/an another grain? Or I can just put its agar from 2 jars to substrate cocos and wait a grow? I not need kilograms, just for me own. Thanks for information in advice.

You need to expand to a grain to get a proper amount of fruits. Coir is not nutritious, so you would only have the agar itself giving nutrients for the mushrooms to grow.

You can expand the agar to grain, and then spawn the grain to coco coir or straw. Doesn't have to be oats, millet, wild bird seed, brf pucks are all viable.

Its worth doing a few transfers to other agar to make sure you get clean spawn and not bacteria or molds with it. Ideally two more transfers of the best healthiest region.

You have a pressure cooker? Any pictures you have will make it easier to give proper advice.

Where is a white fluff I inoculate a day ago, after 3 day in water. I use everywhere in my room izopropanol also UF lamp, but not on spores, on all that I used, all jars, all room, potato, agar, water, etc. Not see to UF, but used the lamp. Also, with pupvivizator I add spirit everywhere where I work. Even knife that I used for potato. So, 1 jar without jar port and like there is bacteria exists and I would to create a air port or transfer to an another culture this agar, there is like a bacteria I found -> https://files.fm/u/9k7zwdyrrjm6k4w5. In another jar I see good miccelius that fast eat the agar. So air is need. Because I did open the jar and take a photo, after close. I think a flash/light is bad for micellius.

You tried using a UV lamp to sterilize everything? That will not work.

That agar plate looks too contaminated I don’t think there is anything there that can be saved. Cubensis mycelium does not show like that after 3 days.

You need a pressure cooker to do agar and most mushroom cultivation. If that is not possible the only method you should try is Pf tek.

I have a experinence but only with oats. 3 days I mean not in agar, in syringe with distillate water. So, where is fluffy white is after ~24 hours after inoculation though air-port. I used fire/spirit. So, first a jar like with bacteria. There is much water, this is why it's not look normal, but on another degree I see white miccelius, but is contaminated, I not think that this bacteria is bad. Just need a time.

So, i got that I need oats. thaknks

I was interested Can I use just a agar-agar without oats. If no, then ok. I then need a wait when I get normal culture, and put it in a sterelized oats and then wait. after coco substrat with water or a wood without things that can be bad for the miccelium. 1 jar looks good. 2 jars just contaminated like with bacteria. Muchrooms have own antibiotics that kills bacteria.

I just removed a water for contaminated jar for a now. And by smell not all so bad. I have an experience when I have a white miccelius with green. and after sometime (i not put to garbage it) i saw how white miccelium eating green, and even without cocoat substrat I got muchrooms.. But it's grows in plactic... Yet, After sometime I will get know what happened with this jar, I think not need anything more than remove a water and wait. Just would to use a buckwheat or peas

any green is a toss. Even if you still output shrooms, its only going to get worse. You can try doing a surgical removal, of a LARGE area around it, like half the tub, and maybe you can still get more on the other side, but that is bad practice.
